Resource Document

Insights from the workshop and findings will be compiled into a set of planning recommendations that identify hillsides that must be actively managed in order to protect built and unbuilt areas through improved egress, emergency access, and fire resilient zoning. This conservation plan will serve as a resource for residents in the study areas as well as local agencies. It also aims to provide knowledge relevant to the larger Southland by including principles applicable to other fire-prone areas.
